Environmental intelligence, from sensor to decision
Airqoon designs, manufactures and operates environmental monitoring networks for cities, industry and institutions. Hardware, cloud analytics and calibration in one ecosystem.
Closing the resolution gap
The problem airqoon set out to solve is unchanged from the first day: a city or an industrial site is typically assessed from a handful of reference stations, often one for an entire district. That is enough to report a regional average, but not to identify where pollution originates or how it disperses.
Closing that gap meant building the full stack: sensor units engineered for deployment at network scale, and the software platform that interprets what they measure. For our customers, monitoring has shifted from an annual compliance exercise to a daily operational practice.
Reference precision with dense spatial coverage
Even though reference stations define the regulatory baseline, what they cannot provide is spatial detail: how a plume travels across a plant boundary, or why one neighborhood consistently reads higher than the district average. Airqoon works to the hybrid network model, in which reference instruments anchor accuracy and a dense layer of indicative sensors fills in the coverage between them.
Reliability, demonstrated and documented
Our measurement methods are developed with the universities and research institutes. Every sensor generation is validated by co-location against reference instruments, and our quality procedures align with CEN/TS 17660 and EU Directive 2024/2881.

Transparency
Air quality data belongs in public view: open maps, open dashboards, open APIs.
Accessibility
A unit should be installed in minutes and reconfigured with quite ease.
Action
Data is only useful when it changes a decision. Every measurement should lead to a clear next step.
