Mining & Quarries

Perimeter dust monitoring for extraction sites, aligned with community expectations and international financing requirements.

The challenge

Open pits, blasting and haul roads, all in the open air

Extraction is inherently dusty: blasting, loading and kilometres of unpaved haul roads emit TSP and PM10 across a wide, changing footprint. Reference stations cannot follow the active face, and communities downwind judge the operation by what settles on their homes.

Solar-powered units move with the operation, watching the boundary and the nearest settlements. Continuous records support ÇSED/ESIA commitments and the environmental monitoring conditions attached to EBRD and IFC financing.

What we deploy
  • Unit L with PM10/TSP focus at the pit boundary and settlements
  • Extended solar package for remote, unpowered locations
  • Anemometer add-on separating blasting events from background
  • Airqoon Lens with compliance records for lenders and regulators

Monitoring that keeps up with the pit.
